Listening game

Every visitor can literally and figuratively enjoy a genuine listening game in HIPPO.WAR. Woody tells the story of the horse of this name and his master Rikske, during World War I. The listening game will become a regular part of what is offered in HIPPO.WAR, alongside the permanent and temporary exhibits.

Woody is a wonderful story, with numerous songs, for young and old alike. The audio play was written especially for HIPPO.WAR by actor/author Dimitri Leue and his voice was recorded and other well-known voices, such as Joke Emmers and Hans Van Cauwenberghe.

As a visitor, you can listen to the excerpts at six listening stations. You do this with your smartphone or an audio guide (available on site). Follow the horseshoe stickers on the ground to experience the full course and story!
